(Bi-)weekly activities

Dica organizes two recurrent activities with the aim of discussing ongoing projects, research articles and various theoretical and empirical ‘issues’ primarily in relation to the study of ‘learning’. Everybody is invited. Please contact kristian.mortensen[at]uni.lu for further information.

Data sessions – Tuesdays 14-16 (weekly)

Data of different running projects is discussed on a weekly basis. The sessions will take place on Tuesdays 14-16 in the LCMI  meeting room (bat.3, 1st floor, next to “kitchen”). To keep the data sessions analytically focused, we stress the use of conversation analysis (CA) (and/or other approaches to sequential microanalysis) as the methodological framework.

General discussions – Thursdays 14-16 (bi-weekly)

In spring  2010, we’re organizing bi-weekly general discussions – normally around some kind of data or scientific articles. Mostly, but not always, discussions circle around theoretical and empirical approaches to the study of “learning” – in various contexts. These sessions  take place on Thursdays (bi-weekly) 14-16 in the LCMI meeting room.
