(Bi-)weekly activities

Dica organizes two recurrent activities with the aim of discussing ongoing projects, research articles and various theoretical and empirical ‘issues’ primarily in relation to the study of ‘learning’. Everybody is invited. Please contact philippe.blanca[at]uni.lu for further information.

General discussions – Tuesdays 14-16 (bi-weekly)

From academic year 2009 – 2010 on, we’re organizing bi-weekly general discussions – normally around some kind of data or scientific articles. Mostly, but not always, discussions circle around theoretical and empirical approaches to the study of “learning” – in various contexts. These sessions  take place on Tuesdays (bi-weekly) 14-16 in the LCMI meeting room.

Data sessions 2009 – 2010 (momentarily paused )

Data of different running projects is discussed on a weekly basis. The sessions will take place in the LCMI meeting room (bat.3, 1st floor, next to “kitchen”). To keep the data sessions analytically focused, we stress the use of conversation analysis (CA) (and/or other approaches to sequential microanalysis) as the methodological framework.
