Mike has four degrees from British Universities including a PhD spanning the disciplines of art, science and religion; regards each as complementary enquiries into the deep structure of human experience; has published over fifty papers and three books at the intersection of these fields; and has exhibited his digital artworks nationally and internationally. He has been a Director of the Scientific and Medical Network, and Reader at London Metropolitan University. He is now retired and a full-time author, writing on themes of the postsecular and culture.
