Tatjana Meira-Kochetkova

Tatjana is a researcher in philosophical anthropology and lecturer at the University of Twente, the Netherlands. She has conducted research on the personality in speech acts theory at Kiev National University, the Ukraine (1997-1999). Afterwards she has done a study in philosophical anthropology and phenomenology at Radboud University of Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Tatjana holds doctoral degrees in philosophy from Kiev National University (1998) and Nijmegen University (2001). She has done research and published articles in environmental philosophy, and ethical, legal and social applications of genomics at Utrecht University for Humanistics (2001-2006) and bioethics of organic agriculture at Louis Bolk Insitute (2007). Tatjana is the author of “Search for Authentic Spirituality in Modern Russian Philosophy” (2007). She works currently on a multi-year project on the implications of genomics research for the ongoing cultural transformation.
