Mentoring in the service industries and professional development (since 2008)
Abstract
The process of mentoring as sustaining development in people is a well-known tool used for improving service quality but also the standard within employees and future leaders. However, these processes haven’t been analyzed in their process and developmental value, which hold the key for understanding and modelling the success of such mentoring activities. This project follows several mentoring initiatives (inside and – mainly – outside Universities) from a cross-gender, cross-sector and multicultural/multilingual account. Based on exploratory studies (2008) a larger project submission is under way.
